'You have your own home, eat there': Girlfriend Overstays her Welcome at Boyfriend's Parents' House, Gets Labeled a Freeloader

I don't know about you, ladies, but my biggest ick in dating is finding out a man still lives with his parents. While individual circumstances may vary, I believe that a man in his 30s needs to be living life independently. Don't get me wrong, this is not coming from a place of entitlement. But when a man lives with his family for such a long time, it tells a lot about his character. Like, for example, his mom still does his laundry and cooks him dinner every night. Gross.

Well, I recently stumbled upon an interesting Reddit story that explores exactly that: a man living with his parents in his early 30s and having to ask his mommy for permission for his girlfriend to stay the night. I almost threw up just writing this. But it gets worse because the mommy doesn't like his girlfriend coming over that much… it's starting to feel like a freeloading situation.
